With a recent contract awarded in **** to provide 6 +2 +2 years, now is the time to join Ventia's Fire ServicesAbout The RolesThese exciting positions will see you work with a team of Firefighters who are responsible for responding to emergencies including incidents involving vessels at harbour, aviation, structural fire and bushfire.
You will perform duties as directed by Station Management including but not limited to:Maintaining operational readiness in accordance with relevant procedures.Ensuring that all relevant administrative duties associated with operational duties are performed.Complying with operational health and safety requirements.Undertaking training and drills as required to maintain operational readiness.You MustMeet the criteria and hold the qualifications listed above as for Qualified FirefightersHave a minimum of 60 months experience as a Ventia Firefighter Level 1,2,3 & 4, or in the Fire & Rescue ServiceHave and supply evidence of the following qualification:PUA***** Certificate IV in Public Safety (Firefighting Supervision)



or equivalent.Special ConditionsThese positions require the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1 – Secret).
