The units are based at Gold Coast University Hospital.
The service has strong partnerships with the community, government, and non-government organisations.Each unit comprises of 24 beds that are divided into 2 sections.
A psychiatric intensive care unit comprising of 6 beds and a low dependency acute "open" unit comprising of 18 beds.
