Venue Manager - BisteccaSydney-based hospitality group Liquid & Larder are searching for an experienced, charismatic Venue Manager to lead the team at Bistecca.About The VenueThe Bistecca experience begins by pulling up a stool or a candle-lit table in the old-world, wood-panelled cocktail bar, stocked with amaro from across the world, including our Four Pillars classic Negroni.
Moving into the intimate 50-seat restaurant, you're greeted by refined Tuscan hospitality.
From the table, take in our famous Bistecca butcher's block and open hearth, which fills the dining room with timeless warmth.
The space then flows to a bottle-lined enoteca (wine room) available for private dining.Bistecca is fast paced, though our guests are met with a warm, timeless and nostalgic feeling that is sincere and welcoming.
We want them to feel comfortable, and still have a sense of the raw, rustic, and a little bit of cheek.About The RoleAs Venue Manager, you'll be the driving force behind Bistecca's day-to-day operation and its long-term success.
You'll take full ownership of the floor, working closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure the dining room matches the ambition of the food — from the pace and polish of service to the theatre of the butcher's block and open hearth.Your responsibilities will include:Rostering, recruitment, and training for the floor and bar teamBuilding a team who can speak confidently to our amaro and wine list and deliver refined, story-driven hospitality night after nightManaging stock and supplier relationships across the bar, restaurant, and enotecaCost control and close attention to P&L; performanceSetting the standard for presentation and service qualityLeading visibly on the floor, coaching in real time, and setting the tone for a team culture that's supportive, accountable,
