Join us atIcon Cancer Centre,Moreland, where you will be part of a close-knit team providing administration support to patients undergoing radiation therapy treatment.
Your expertise will directly support patients through one of the most important journeys of their lives.We are seeking an experienced Administration Manager to join our innovative and dynamic team for an 8-month contract.
This role reports to the Site Manager and is responsible for leading our exceptional administration team.This role requires close coordination with all our disciplines and is a varied role which includes team management, billing, data entry and auditing, rostering, site maintenance, training and development and oversight over all other daily activities.
This role will operate in a full-time capacity, working 76 hours per fortnight working 5 days a week Monday to Friday (between the hours of 7am and 9 pm).
Key ResponsibilitiesHelp cultivate a warm, secure and supportive environment for both staff and patientsAssist in recruitment of administration staff and ongoing training and skill developmentRostering of the administration team to meet business needsSupport and lead the administration team through daily tasks and responsibilitiesAudit and evaluate practices and workflow to ensure compliance and best practiceMeet organisational KPIs and targets for the administration teamPatient billings and informed financial consentExhibit effective communication skills with all staff, patients and carersEstablish strong working relationship with the Site Manager, Doctors and staffBuild positive relationships with other/hospital departments and the wider professional communityFacilitate succession planning within the administration department by fostering leadership development and identifying gaps in skillImplement practice changes and quality improvements seamlessly within the teamAbout YouIcon is committed to providing exemplary patient care to the community.
