The RoleThe Learning & Development team at CDC NSW is recruiting two Driver Trainers to support the delivery of driver training, assessments, and development initiatives across our operations.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, one position will be dedicated to our Metropolitan depots, while the second will support our Hunter Region depots.
Both roles involve travel across their respective regions and offer the opportunity to make a real impact on driver capability, safety, and customer service.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesTrain, develop, support, coach and mentor Drivers and Depot Support Staff to meet CDC NSW standards for safety, driving behaviours and customer experience.Ensure training and on-road assessments are completed to the standards and requirements of CDC NSW and other stakeholders.Ensure new Drivers and Depot Support Staff are adequately onboarded to the induction plan appropriate to their role.Conduct pre-employment driving assessments and provide outcome and feedback as required for recruitment process.Maintain up to date knowledge of licensing and regulatory requirements for Drivers.Prepare and maintain training resources and materials for compliance purposes.Comply with NSW state's WHS, Regulations and Codes of PracticeComply with CDC NSWs WHS and Risk Management Policies and ProceduresEnsure all accidents and incidents are investigated promptly.Reporting hazards and incidentsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you must have:Current MR license,



NSW Bus Drivers Authority and NSW Working with Children ClearanceCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** / TAE*****)Certificate IV in Transport & Logistics (Road Transport – Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction)Previous experience in training and/or mentoringA passion for health and safety and providing a professional and memorable customer experienceResilient and ability to work under pressureExcellent time management and communication skillsIntermediate proficiency in MS Office Programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)The Following Will Also Be Highly RegardedCurrent HR LicenceExperience training individuals for MR and HR licence upgradesPrevious hands-on experience maintaining records in a Learning Management System (LMS)This is a critical role ensuring we maintain highest standards for our Driver workforce in providing a safe and comfortable journey to assist our customers reach their destinations.About UsComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC) is the largest private bus operator in NSW.
