Due to ongoing operational requirements, they are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join their property team.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Property and Facilities, you'll play a key role in ensuring their corporate facilities remain safe, professional, and operational while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders.Your new roleOverseeing the day-to-day operation of multiple commercial office buildings across West PerthCoordinating and supervising external contractors and service providersActing as the primary point of contact for building-related issues and facility requestsUndertaking minor carpentry and building works where requiredPreparing offices, meeting rooms, and workspaces for business useTroubleshooting and resolving facility-related issues in a timely mannerManaging contractor performance and ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standardLiaising with stakeholders across all levels of the businessManaging requests and communications through Outlook and other computer-based systemsTaking ownership of issues from identification through to resolutionMaintaining a highly professional and customer-focused approach at all timesWhat you'll need to succeedQualified Carpenter with a recognised Trade CertificateMinimum 5 years' post-trade experienceOwn vehicle and toolsBroad building knowledge of commercial facilities and building servicesExperience coordinating and overseeing outsourced trades and contractorsStrong problem-solving ability and willingness to take ownership of tasksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook and Office applicationsProfessional presentation and ability to engage confidently with stakeholdersAbility to work autonomously and manage competing prioritiesCurrent driving licencePhysically fit and capable of undertaking hands‐on duties when requiredAustralian Citizen or Permanent ResidentWhat you'll get in return6-month fixed-term contractMonday to Friday working weekAllowances providedDiverse role combining facilities oversight and hands‐on building supportProfessional, friendly, and customer-focused cultureOpportunity to work within a respected corporate environmentAutonomy and ownership within a varied roleWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
