Operating in a highly commercial and regulated environment, COEX has built a respected in-house legal team that partners closely with the business and plays an active role in strategic decision-making.As the organisation continues to evolve, the business has created a new role for a Senior Corporate Counsel to join the team.This is an excellent prospect for a senior lawyer looking to broaden their practice and work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, advising on:Strategic commercial transactions and complex contracting;Customer & operator terms and bespoke commercial agreements;Regulatory change and business transformation initiatives;Customer and operator matters,



including complaints, contractual breaches and remediation;Marketing, consumer law and intellectual property;Development of commercial frameworks and legal documentation; andMentoring and supporting junior members of the legal team.We're looking for an experienced senior commercial lawyer (approximately 8+ years' PAE) with strong contracting experience, sound commercial judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
Experience gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both will be considered.In return, you'll join a mature, collaborative legal team undertaking genuinely interesting work in an organisation that combines commercial complexity with real community impact.
