In this role, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping function across a diverse group of established businesses spanning automotive, importing and manufacturing.Rather than being tied to one repetitive set of accounts, you'll gain exposure to different businesses, people and processes — giving you the opportunity to use your experience across a broader setting and continue building your skill set.You'll work closely with management and the external accountant, with the variety of the role giving you the chance to apply your existing skills in different environments and continue building your experience.About the RoleFull-time | Office Based | Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM to 5:00 PMManage the day-to-day bookkeeping function across the business groupManage Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableComplete bank and credit card reconciliationsProcess EFT, credit card, cash and cheque paymentsRespond to account and payment enquiriesManage payroll tax and superannuation requirementsPrepare and coordinate BAS requirementsPrepare reports for the external accountantMaintain accurate bookkeeping records across the businessesWork with cloud-based accounting systemsSupport the transition of one business to Peach softwareWork closely with management to keep financial processes running smoothlyFollow up information when required and keep tasks movingWith occasional travel between business locations during the transition periodAbout YouTo be successful you'll have:End-to-end bookkeeping experienceStrong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experienceExcellent bank and credit card reconciliation skillsExperience with BAS, superannuation and payroll taxConfidence working independently and taking ownershipExperience working across multiple businesses, entities or accountsStrong organisation and time management skillsA proactive approach and excellent follow-up skillsThe ability to prioritise your workload and keep things movingStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookExperience with cloud-based accounting systemsA friendly, approachable personality and a good sense of humourSomeone who enjoys variety and isn't fazed when every day looks a little differentWhy Join?
