With a crew of over 50 people our teamare genuinely valued and feel part of our bigger vision.With our work now expanding across the Sydney metro area and Illawarra, we're on the lookout for a skilled Crew Manager to head up a brand-new crew and help lead the way forward.About the roleThe role will be varied, including working on-site to assist the crew, quoting and assessments, job co-ordination and team leadership.Our crews are made up of qualified Arborist's, Climbers and non-climbers, Grounds crew and Truckdrivers.If you are highly motivated, reliable and a true master of your craft you will fit right in.Key Responsibilities:Team leadership - motivate, support, train and mentor the crewCo-ordinate daily operations of each days work ordersMonitor team productivity to ensure jobs run to scheduleOperate and maintain plant and machinery and adhere to company requirementsPerform Arborist tasks such as pruning and removing trees to Australia standardsManage and implement WH&S; systems on site and implement safe work practicesClient liaison - build and maintain positive client relationshipsQuoting - Provide quotes to clients utilising company frameworksAttend and engage in fortnightly staff and WH&S; meetingsEnsure self and team perform consistent work in a secure mannerBe exceptionally punctual and reliable in your attendanceSkills & experienceCustomer service and Client liaison skillsStrong verbal and interpersonal communication skillsHighly organised with solid time management skillsConfident to make correct decisions when empowered to do soA focused approach to achieve high quality standardsMinimum 3 years industry experienceWhite CardDrivers LicenceCert III in Arboriculture (or international equivalent)MR or HR Licence (Preferable but not necessary)First aid certificate (Preferable but not necessary)EWP ticket (Preferable but not necessary)Knowledge of WH&S; environmental and council regulations (Preferable but not necessary)RIW certificate (Preferable but not necessary)ESi II certificate (Preferable but not necessary)Benefits and perksAbove award wagesOvertime and weekend work is sometimes available (at your discretion)All PPE supplied (You must supply your own work boots)Industry leading Bandit and Rayco equipment with modern trucksOpportunity for training to expand your skillsetSupplied with the right tools and resources to ensure top performance is not just expected—but achievableFully maintained company vehicleWe're after someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and pride in their trade.
