Job DescriptionA leading, fast-growing non-bank lender is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join its Melbourne based credit team.
With a global footprint and a strong track record in mortgage lending and capital markets, this organisation offers a dynamic workplace and ongoing growth with a fast-paced environment.In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring high-quality credit decisions, maintaining strong risk standards, and supporting the business through accurate assessments, sound judgement, and effective stakeholder engagement.Key responsibilities:Conducting detailed credit assessments on allocated residential, commercial, SMSF and construction applicationsProviding clear recommendations to Delegated Lending Authority holders and/or exercising your ownIdentifying and escalating potential fraud risksMaintaining high-quality data standards and documentationApplying sound judgement to identify and manage operational and credit riskEnsuring adherence to credit policy,



regulatory guidance and legal requirementsBuilding effective relationships with internal stakeholders to support strong outcomesContributing to a high-performing, collaborative team cultureThe ideal background:2 - 4+ years' experience in lending or credit assessment, with exposure to one or more of residential, commercial, SMSF and/or construction lendingExperience working in a manual credit assessment environmentAbility to work autonomously with strong self-motivationA proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine "can-do" attitudeExcellent communication skills and strong attention to detailAbility to adapt quickly, learn on the fly, and perform under pressureCommitment to integrity, teamwork, fairness and continuous improvementWhy this role?
