As a Residential Care Officer, you will provide person-centred care and support to residents with their daily activities, personal care, wellbeing and community participation.
Key responsibilities
Providing personal care and daily living support
Assisting with showering, dressing, grooming and hygiene
Supporting residents with meals and meal preparation
Assisting with mobility and transfers as required
Supporting residents to participate in social and recreational activities
Encouraging independence, choice and community participation
Following individual care and support plans
Supporting residents with their routines and daily needs
Maintaining accurate shift notes and documentation
Reporting incidents, changes in behaviour or wellbeing appropriately
