You will be a part of a energetic environment where collaboration, innovation, and customer focus are key.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild andmaintainstrong relationships withour keycustomer,Caterpillarandinternal stakeholders, actingas the on-site technical liaison across Cowal and WaggaAnalyse fleet performance data toidentifyunderperforming assetsand providetimely, effective technical solutions to equipment issuesConduct wear management inspections and provide condition monitoring recommendations to optimise total cost of ownership,



supported byhigh-qualitytechnical reportsWork closely with the customertoresolve unplanned downtime,providingon-site technical advice,troubleshootingand warranty supportReview, assess, and recommend improvements to maintenance and operational practices, and supportcomponentlifecycle management and breakdown response coordinationIdentifyand develop aftermarket sales opportunities through regular customer engagement and fleet analysis, referring qualified opportunities to the Mining Support Manager to support business growthSkills and ExperienceMechanical Trade Certificate (or tertiary qualification in Engineering) plus a minimum of 5 years' post-trade experience on Cat equipmentSound commercial acumen,with the ability toidentifyandclearly communicate sales and aftermarket opportunities to the Mining Support ManagerStrong understanding of whole-of-life cost, Fleet Production Cost (FPC) and equipment application, with familiarity with CAT systems (DBS, SIS, ET,SIMSi, TMI) an advantageDemonstrated high-levelcustomerrelationship managementandadvanced communication skillsProvenability to troubleshoot equipment faults, analyse data and compile reports to drive performance improvementA strong safety-first mindset, with the ability to work autonomously or within a team across a 5/2 rosterWhy WesTrac?
