Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.Hale School is seeking applications from agile, enthusiastic, experienced and well-qualified teachers to fill this significant leadership position.
The Head of Art is a key role in the School, providing effective leadership of the Art Department and with responsibility for establishing the highest standards of Art learning and practice across Years 7 to 12.The successful applicant will demonstrate:exemplary teaching of Art, with experience of, or capacity for, teaching Year 12 Visual Arts (ATAR)a willingness to pursue avenues, within and beyond the classroom curriculum, that enhance boys' engagement in, appreciation for, and capacity to produce artthe capacity to lead and motivate othersthe ability to communicate effectivelythe ability to relate well to students, staff and parentsa strong work ethicknowledge of, and interest in, developments in Art educationproven ability to effectively utilise technology in the classroomproven ability to work as a member of a teaman understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social,
