Senior Project Manager – Medical Devices
We are partnering with aglobal medical technology organisationto recruit an experiencedSenior Project Managerto join its growing Brisbane-based team.
This position will leadNew Product Development (NPD) and cross-functional projects from initiation through to commercialisation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
The Role
Working within a highly collaborative and regulated environment, you will partner withProduct Development, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Commercial teamsto successfully deliver complex projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead NPD projects from concept through development and commercialisation
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and resources
Coordinate multidisciplinary and cross-functional project teams
Identify project risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks
Develop mitigation strategies and drive projects towards key milestones
Manage project dashboards, KPIs and reporting
Lead project meetings and cross-functional reviews
Present project progress, risks and recommendations to senior leadership
Drive accountability across teams in a matrixed environment
Support continuous improvement of project management processes and tools




About You
We are looking for an organised and commercially minded Project Manager who can successfully navigate complex technical projects and multiple stakeholders.
Ideally, you will bring:
2+ years of dedicated Project Management experience
Broader experience across Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Marketing or a related function
Demonstrated experience managingcomplex cross-functional projects
Experience withNew Product Development (NPD)highly regarded
Experience withinmedical devices, healthcare or another regulated industryadvantageous
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to influence teams without direct authority
PMP certificationadvantageous but not essential
