Due to continued growth, we are seeking aFire Protection Technicianto join ourPassive & Maintenancedivision.
Role Overview
This role covers a combination offire inspection & testing (I&T;)andpassive fire maintenance and repairsacross a broad range of commercial and industrial sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
You will be responsible for ensuring fire protection systems and passive fire elements remain compliant, functional, and fit for purpose.
This is a hands‐on field role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and compliance.
You will work both independently and as part of a skilled and supportive team delivering essential life‐safety services.
Key Responsibilities
Carry outinspection, testing, servicing and maintenanceof fire protection systems in accordance withAS ****
Performpassive fire repairs and maintenance, including penetrations, fire‐rated systems and building elements
Complete rectification works to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant Australian Standards




Accurately complete reports and documentation using tablet‐based systems
Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and internal teams
Identify non‐compliances and escalates where required
Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard
Participate in infrequent weekend work and a rostered on‐call service as required
Proven experienceinfire protection inspection, testing, maintenance and/or passive fire repairs
Working knowledge of AS ****
Ability towork independently on siteand manage assigned jobs end to end
High attention to detailwith a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance
CurrentWhite Card
(This role is suited to experienced technicians and is not an apprenticeship or entry‐level position.)
Experience working acrossboth fire I&T; and passive fire disciplines
Knowledge of additional relevantAustralian Standards
Experience usingdigital / tablet‐based reporting systems
Background working incommercial or industrial environments
