Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for theinspection, testing, servicing, maintenance and rectificationof fire protection systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
You will work both independently and as part of a skilled and supportive team, delivering compliant, high-quality fire system outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Service, inspect, test and rectifyfire protection systemsin accordance withAS ****
Work on systems includingsprinklers, fire pumps, water storage tanks,



fire hose reels and fire hydrants
Carry out installation and modification works in line with relevant standards (AS ****, AS ****, AS ****, AS ****)
Accurately complete job documentation and reports using digital systems
Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and internal teams
Identify non-compliances and complete rectification works as required
Participate in infrequent weekend work and a rostered on-call service
Fully qualified Plumber and/or Sprinkler Fitter
Proven experience infire protection servicing, maintenance and installation
Strong working knowledge ofrelevant Australian Standards
Ability to work independently and manage jobs end to end
High attention to detail with a robust focus onquality and compliance
Confidence usingdigital reporting software
CurrentWhite Card
Certificate III in Fire Protectionor equivalent
Experience working across additional fire services systems
Willingness to learn other product areas within theBanhams Group, includingcommercial hydraulic pump systemsandunderwater ROV inspection services(training provided)
