As a Weekend Barista All rounder, you will be a key part of our team, delivering excellent customer service whilst preparing quality beverages and supporting our front-of-house operations.
This position is essential to maintaining the high standards Daily Break is known for during our busiest trading days.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages to the highest standard, including specialty coffee drinksOperate espresso machines and other beverage preparation equipment with confidence and consistencyProvide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guestsTake customer orders accurately and efficiently, both at the counter and table service where applicableMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar and service areas in accordance with food safety regulationsStock and rotate beverage supplies,



ensuring adequate inventory during service periodsAssist with general front-of-house duties as required, including seating guests and managing the flow of serviceSupport team members during peak trading times and collaborate to ensure smooth operationsHandle cash and card transactions accurately, processing payments and managing the tillRespond professionally to customer queries and resolve any service issues promptlyWhat we're looking forPrevious experience working as a barista or in a bar or café environmentStrong knowledge of espresso-based drinks and beverage preparation techniquesExcellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly demeanorAbility to work efficiently during busy periods whilst maintaining quality standardsGood communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a teamFlexibility to work weekends reliably and consistentlyAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standardsBasic cash handling experience and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageousA passion for hospitality and a genuine interest in providing excellent serviceWhat we offerDaily Break provides a casual, flexible working setting perfect for those seeking weekend work.
