Community Relations Officer | Logan WaterBeenleigh, QLD, AustraliaJob DescriptionThe opportunityWe currently have an opportunity for a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join our team supporting water infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will develop and deliver communication and stakeholder engagement strategies that help maintain strong relationships with communities, customers, project teams and key stakeholders while supporting the successful delivery of critical infrastructure programs.This position involves a combination of office-based and site-based activities, working closely with project teams, council representatives, residents and business owners.
You will coordinate engagement activities, prepare communication materials, manage stakeholder enquiries and support project events and community education initiatives.
A White Card will be required after commencement.Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing community and stakeholder engagement plans for multiple projectsPreparing and delivering water outage letters and other communication materials as requiredConducting stakeholder and customer surveys to measure engagement outcomesSupporting stakeholder negotiations relating to property access, construction impacts and site restorationManaging stakeholder enquiries and complaints and escalating issues where requiredSupporting project events, community engagement activities and education programsProviding advice and guidance to project teams on stakeholder engagement strategies and obligationsWhat we're looking forTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Tertiary qualifications in Communications,
