Care AssistantsThe Opportunity:Newcastle Anglican are seeking experienced Care Assistants to join its aged care facilities in Newcastle & Lake Macquarie in permanent part time roles.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to gain further experience in a great team environment.

Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, or 2nd/3rd Yr RN studentBe versatile to work a range of shift morning, afternoon and nightCurrent First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtainAn ability to work effectively as an individual and within a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to accurately document residents care/progressCurrent drivers licence + own reliable vehicleWillingness to undergo a functional assessment and drug and alcohol screeningCurrent NDIS CheckNational Police Check (the Diocese will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
