This role supports a high-performing finance team within a fast-growing, privately owned business.
The position offers broad exposure across fund accounting, reporting, and operational finance, with clear development and progression pathways.
The team has recently moved into a modern new office space in the Sydney CBD, offering a collaborative and professional working workplace.The ChallengeReporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Support the Fund Finance team with the day-to-day accounting of managed fundsPrepare month-end journals,



general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliationsPrepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with unit pricing calculations and reasonableness checksReview month-end reports prepared by outsourced accountantsAssist with BAS preparation, fund distributions and quarterly investor reportingAssist with the preparation of annual financial statements, tax returns and audit requirementsRespond to finance queries from internal and external stakeholdersAssist with fund and asset onboarding and offboardingContribute to the implementation of Yardi and the migration of data from externally managed accounting systemsThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:Achieved or actively working towards being CA/CPA qualifiedYou have commenced your career within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm and may have additional experience in the property industry of fund accountingYou have strong market knowledge of the property industry and financial services industry, seeking to grow in a highly varied and fast paced environmentHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem solving skills
