People management responsibilities such as: Supervision of employees in store, including task allocation, training and monitoring of performanceStock and special orderingOpening and closing proceduresStrong customer service skills and passion to provide an exceptional shopping experienceCash reconciliation and bankingUnderstanding of safety and quality assurance guidelines




To be successful in this role, you will need:
To be able to work a Tuesday to Saturday rosterThe ability to work Sunday's on a rotating rosterDesire to learn and grow with the CompanyPassion for high quality food productsTo be a friendly, approachable, and positive team playerExcellent presentation skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsBasic competency in Microsoft Office suite of programsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Main responsibilities include:
Assist with supervision and management of employees, including task delegation in Store Managers absenceEnsuring opening and closing procedures are being followed when requiredCash reconciliation and banking when requiredAssist with stock ordering in Store Managers absence to meet customer demand and maintain display standardsEnsure all employees are meeting business and legislative WHS and Food Safety requirements including keeping accurate training recordsOrganising store maintenance when requiredHelp ensure sales, wages, gross profit and stock waste targets are achieved as much as possibleDealing with customer complaintsTraining new employeesProviding employees with ongoing feedback as requiredContinuously adhere to Barossa Fine Foods Values, Objectives, Policies and Procedures
