Our Geelong Withdrawal Unit provides a safe, supportive, trauma-informed environment for individuals seeking to recover from addiction.
Registered Nurses play a vital role in ensuring clients receive high-quality clinical care, dignity, and compassionate support throughout their withdrawal journey.About The RoleAs a Registered Nurse, this is your opportunity to deliver high-quality nursing care to clients undergoing withdrawal, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and actively involved in their recovery.
You will provide clinical observations, medication administration, admissions and discharges, and collaborate closely with AOD support staff and external services to ensure safe and effective care.Reporting to the Nurse Team Leader, this is a Casual position, based on-site located in our Geelong Withdrawal Unit, based in Corio, VIC.ConditionsCompensation is in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement - Geelong Withdrawal Unit.How You Will Make An ImpactDeliver safe clinical care including medication administration, clinical observations, and responding to immediate medical needsSupport client engagement by welcoming clients, involving them in their treatment plan, and encouraging participation in the programManage admissions and discharges including documentation, observations,
