We're looking for a practical, reliable Maintenance Officer to help keep the site running smoothly and ensure our residents and staff have a secure, comfortable environment every day.This is a general maintenance role focused on the day-to-day upkeep of the facility.
Our Property Team manages electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other specialist trade work through external contractors, so you won't need to hold a trade licence.
Instead, you'll be the friendly, hands-on person on site who keeps things ticking, coordinates contractor access and takes care of the everyday jobs that make a real difference to our residents and staff.Roster:Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:00pm | Enjoy a consistent weekday roster with no weekends, night shifts or on-call requirementsKey Responsibilities:Identify, log and report maintenance issues across the siteAct as the on-site point of contact for contractors, coordinating access and attendanceComplete basic repairs and upkeep, including patching walls, minor painting, assembling furniture and hanging picturesMove furniture and equipment, receive deliveries and purchase maintenance suppliesPrepare vacant rooms for new residents and assist with basic troubleshooting of phones and site systemsHelp maintain a safe, clean and well-presented environment for residents, families and staffEnsure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies and proceduresWhy Join Us?
