The opportunity
The Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) Board is seeking an independent non-executive director with strong financial, audit and risk expertise.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the governance of Australia's largest remote service provider, supporting the delivery of aged care and community services across some of the nation's most remote and culturally diverse communities.
Key skills and experience being sought
Senior executive financial leadership experience, ideally as a current or former CFO.
Audit, risk management and compliance expertise within a regulated environment.
Aged care sector experience, including funding, prudential and regulatory frameworks.
Board or board committee experience, particularly within audit and risk functions.




Ability to provide strategic oversight, challenge and guidance on financial and risk matters.
Highly desirable skills
Experience operating in remote, regional or geographically dispersed environments.
Experience within not-for-profit or purpose-driven organisations.
Demonstrated experience chairing a board, or substantial experience as a deputy chair, committee chair or senior board leader.
Location
ARRCS welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates located anywhere in Australia, with preference given to candidates residing in the Northern Territory, Queensland or South Australia.

Remuneration
$18,987 per annum, excluding superannuation.
