Legal Assistant | Medical Malpractice & Professional Indemnity
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join this thriving insurance litigation team focusing on
Medical Malpractice, Qualified Indemnity and Corporate Risk.
As the successful candidate, you are expected to hold solid experience (no less than 2 years) in a litigation legal support role within a private practice law firm. You will have strong attention to detail and be seeking to further develop your legal support career.
The Professional Indemnity practice group forms part of a large national practice so you will be involved in liaising and working with Insurance Panel clients, therefore any background in a similar position is preferred.
Your daily responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of tasks, including:
Court document preparation and amendments;
Electronic file management and client liaison;
Monthly billing and expense reconciliation;
Online filing of Court documentation;
Managing up-and-coming deadlines, ensuring your operators are prepared ahead of time;
Diary management and meeting coordination;
Adhoc responsibilities as required.
