What Makes this Role Exciting
n
The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
n
Are You the One?
n
n
Proven fabrication and welding industry experience with minimum 5 years post-trade qualification experience and current industry currency
n
Sound knowledge of the MEM Training Package, current fabrication industry trends, continuous improvement practices, and underpinning technical knowledge
n
Strong practical expertise in MIG, TIG, Arc and Gas Welding, fabrication, workshop practices, and heavy fabrication environments
n
Trade qualified to at least Certificate III, with Certificate IV qualifications viewed favourably
n
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE*****) or higher and demonstrated experience delivering adult education
n
Welding certifications highly regarded, including Welder Certifications and Welding Supervisor Certifications (AS****, AS**** and/or ISO ******)

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
