We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Mathematics and Science Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Role
n
This position involves teaching Mathematics and Science across Years 7–12, with the opportunity to deliver senior secondary courses (TASC or equivalent). The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of academic excellence, innovation in pedagogy, and strong student-teacher relationships.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver engaging and rigorous Mathematics and Science programs across Years 7–12
n
Teach senior secondary subjects (e.g., General/Methods Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology)
n
Use data-informed practices to improve student outcomes
n
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
n
Contribute to curriculum development and co-curricular programs
n
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
n
n
About You
n
You are an enthusiastic educator who:
n
n
Holds full working rights in Australia
n
Holds relevant teaching qualifications and registration (or eligibility) in Tasmania
n
Has demonstrated experience teaching senior Mathematics and/or Science
n
Is committed to contemporary, evidence-based teaching practices
n




Builds strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
n
Contributes positively to a collaborative and values-driven school culture
n
Is willing to engage in the broader life of the College
