Assistant Manager - Recent Toymate Bankstown!
Are you a motivated leader ready to take the next step in your retail career? We're looking for a passionate and proactive Merchandise Manager (our internal title for our Assistant Managers) to support daily operations, drive team performance, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.
? What You'll Do:
Support the Store Manager in running all aspects of store operations
Lead, coach and motivate team members to achieve targets and provide excellent service
Maintain high standards in visual merchandising and stock presentation
Assist in managing stock control, rostering, and daily reporting
Act as a role model for the team and step up as acting Store Manager when needed
At least 2 years' retail experience in a management or supervisory role
Strong communication and people skills
Organised, reliable, and confident in a fast-paced environment
A passion for retail, problem-solving, and team development
Availability to work across weekends and trading hours
