Your new role
We are currently seeking experienced Roller Operators and HC Licenced Watercart Operators to support the construction of a current highway project near Mount Isa.
Working on a 10/4 day-shift roster (10-hour days), you will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently while contributing to the successful delivery of road construction works.
Key duties will include:
Operating Rollers or HC Watercarts on road construction and upgrade works
Following project specifications and site procedures
Conducting pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance




Working closely with supervisors and other operators to meet production targets
Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standards
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience working on civil construction projects, ideally road construction or highway upgrades
Relevant RII tickets/competencies for the machinery you operate
Current HC Licence (Watercart Operators)
Strong understanding of safe operating procedures
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Reliable work ethic and commitment to project outcomes
