Position Overview

We're seeking a Dispatch Team Leader to join our Kilargo team in Banyo. Leading a team of four in a fast paced warehouse environment, you'll have the opportunity to drive operational improvements, implement change and build a long term career with a global industry leader. In this hands on leadership role, you'll play a key part in delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining a strong safety culture, and ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

What you will do
n

Lead, coach and develop a team of four employees in a safety focussed fast-paced despatch environment where customer service is a priority.
n
Coordinate domestic and export despatch activities, prioritising workloads to ensure customer requirements and delivery deadlines are consistently met.
n
Load and unload freight while maintaining safe work practices and high housekeeping standards.
n
Ensure accurate despatch documentation, freight inspections, consignment labelling and system transactions.
n
Support picking, packing and inventory management activities, including accurate consignment and carton labelling.
n
Conduct cycle counts and lead stocktake activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
n
Process inventory movements and real time transactions within SAP.
n
Support continuous improvement, operational projects and business improvement initiatives as required.

What we require
n
n
Previous experience leading a team within a warehouse, stores or despatch environment.
n
Ability to perform manual handling activities including lifting, bending,



standing and repetitive warehouse tasks.
n
Current Drivers Licence & LF Forklift Licence and commitment to safe work practices.
n
Solid communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
n
Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and meeting customer commitments.
n

What we prefer
n

High Reach Forklift experience.
n
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly regarded.
n
Previous involvement in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or 5S initiatives.
n
Experience in inventory control, stocktakes or
manufacturing/distribution
environments.
