The Team
n
As a Food Services Officer, you'll be part of a dedicated team that plays a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of patients and staff across Tasmania's public hospitals and health facilities. The team works collaboratively to ensure the safe preparation, handling, and delivery of nutritious meals that meet diverse dietary and clinical needs. With a strong focus on hygiene, efficiency, and teamwork, the Food Services team contributes directly to patient care and recovery in a fast‐paced, supportive environment.

The Role
n
As a Food Services Officer, you will be responsible for the preparation, portioning, and delivery of meals to patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. Your role ensures meals meet dietary, nutritional, and hygiene standards, supporting patient recovery and wellbeing. You'll work as part of a team-oriented team, maintaining food safety protocols,



operating kitchen equipment, and contributing to a clean and efficient food service environment.

Salary Packaging

Details of appointment
n
Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 30 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
n
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

$59,668 to $65,185 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
