Established in ****, The Salt Foundation is a not-for-profit Christian charity providing integral support services to people living with disabilities.
The Salt Foundation is a registered NDIS provider with a proud history of providing programs that promote physical, social, and mental well-being for individuals, families, and communities.
As a not-for-profit charity all our proceeds go back into the community.
Over the last 10 years the Salt Foundation has donated proceeds to support those who are most valuable and disadvantaged in our community.
This has seen the development of emergency food relief programs to families in crises, the establishment of an orphanage in India, social enterprise for women and children in Cambodia and many more programs both locally and abroad.

About the Role
We have several vacancies available throughout theMornington Peninsula for experienced Disability Support Workers.
This a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in proving home and community access.
Working with the Salt Foundation you will play a vital role in supporting our participants in to pursuing their interests, developing new skills, achieve their lifestyle goals and to be valued as equal member in the community.
Your role may involve providing assistance with all aspects of daily living including meals, personal care, assistance with everyday household tasks and meaningful engagement within their home and community environments.
About you
Most importantly,



you have a passion and desire to help and support others.
Clear and effective communications skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
Initiative and self-motivation
A positive and professional approach
Flexibility and availability is essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, morning, day and afternoon.
Relevant qualifications are highly desirable, however, someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered
