Cook - New Campbelltown Early Learning Centre
About the role:
As we proudly approach the opening of our brand-new, ultra-modern Early Learning Centre in Campbelltown, we have a permanent-part-time opportunity for a qualified cook to play a foundational role in establishing this centre!
This role will see you working Monday to Friday for up to 55 hours per fortnight.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting children's health and wellbeing by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and snacks.
Maintaining strong food safety and hygiene standards.
Diligently adhering to child allergy & dietary action plans.
Preparing meal plans and ingredient orders.
Working closely with the Centre Director and Educators.
Creating positive mealtime experiences in a warm, inclusive environment.
What we offer you:
$***** to $***** pe r hour depending on your qualification and experience

What You Bring to the Role:
Certificate III in Food Handling or equivalent qualification (desired, not essential) or relevant experience.
Valid certifications including First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
A current NSW Working with Children Check.
Experience preparing nutritious meals and managing kitchen operations in early childhood, education, health or community settings.
Strong knowledge of food safety legislation,
hygiene standards and allergy management requirements.
Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills, including stock control and ordering.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
A strong commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusive, culturally responsive practices.
