Dentalcare Mount Barker is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team.
No previous dental experience is required.
We're looking for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys working with people and wants to build a career in a supportive practice environment.
This is a full-time position across a 9-day fortnight, giving you the opportunity to gain hands‐on experience across both dental assisting and reception while enjoying a great work‐life balance.
Job Description
As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you'll learn and support our team across both the clinical and front desk areas, including:
Assisting our dentists and clinical team during patient appointments
Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standards
Sterilisation and maintaining clinical compliance
Welcoming and supporting patients with a warm and professional approach
Managing patient appointments and recalls
Answering phone enquiries and providing excellent customer service
Processing payments and health fund claims
Supporting the team with day‐to‐day practice operations
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
Is enthusiastic about starting a career in the dental industry
Is friendly, approachable and passionate about providing great patient care
Has strong communication and customer service skills
Is eager to learn and develop new skills
Is organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environment
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Has a positive attitude and is happy to help wherever needed
Previous customer service, administration,
