Banyule Leisure is seeking a creativeand community-minded Community Engagement and Communications Officer tosupport engagement, digital communications, campaigns and communitypartnerships across our leisure facilities.
In this varied part time role, youwill help coordinate the Banyule Leisure Equity Membership Program, buildconnections with community organisations, support events and days ofsignificance, and create engaging content for social media, web and in-centrecommunications.

You will work closely with Banyule Leisure teams, Councildepartments and external partners to promote programs, share good news stories,support campaigns and help more people access local leisure opportunities.You'll
Coordinateand facilitate the Banyule Leisure Equity Membership Program
ConnectBanyule Leisure with community through networking and connecting with communityorganisations.
Focusingon connecting identified disadvantaged community cohorts with Banyule LeisureFacilities.
Coordinateand champion social media channels for Banyule Leisure.
Including promotion of facility, "good newsstories", and supporting program promotion and awareness.
Workwith program coordinators and colleagues to maximise effectiveness of majorcampaigns

What you'll bring/what we arelooking for:
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills,experience creating digital or campaign content, a genuine interest incommunity wellbeing, and the ability to build positive relationships with awide range of stakeholders.
You'll have:
An ability to create organic content and structuredmarketing campaign content.




A commitment to Banyule Leisure's values and akeen interest in promoting health and wellness outcomes for our customersand the wider community.
Strong customer service focus and ability tomultitask in a busy and dynamic environment, without compromising serviceto customers.
Atleast 2 years' experience in similar or related roles.
Prior experience working within the community sectoror aquatics and recreation industry in a communications role will be highlyconsidered.
What's on offer
A 2 yearfixed term part time role working 22.8 hours per week – this could beworked across 3 or 4 days.
Salary from $49,****** to $57,****** per year (comparison at fulltime is $83,****** to $96,******) depending onexperience, plus super.
Primary work location Ivanhoe Aquatic, and Olympic Leisure Centre.

Level 2 First Aid (Apply First Aid).
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check(NCCHC)
