The Principal of this firm focuses on providing sharp, clear, and practical solutions for their diverse client base.

Due to a steady influx of high-quality litigation work, they are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Generalist Lawyer with a heavy background in court work and dispute resolution.
The Role
You will step into a broad, generalist position with a heavy emphasis on civil and commercial litigation.
You will be given immediate file ownership and the autonomy to manage matters from inception to final hearing/settlement.
Your day-to-day work will span:
Commercial & Civil Litigation:
Handling breach of contract disputes, building and construction issues, corporate debt recovery, and property disputes.
Court Work & Advocacy:




Drafting pleadings, affidavits, statements of claim, and interlocutory applications across the Local, District, and Supreme Courts of NSW.
Alternative Dispute Resolution:
Preparing for and representing clients at mediations, conciliations, and informal settlement conferences.
Generalist Practice:
Assisting clients with property transactions, leasing disputes, estate planning, and basic family law matters as required.

Skills & Experience Required
Qualifications:
Admitted as a Solicitor in NSW with a current, unrestricted Practising Certificate.
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in a private practice setting.
Litigation:
Hands-on experience independently managing litigation files, instructing counsel, and appearing in NSW courts.
Adaptable Generalist Mindset:
A versatile professional who is enthusiastic about working across multiple areas of law to service the clients' diverse needs.
Client-Centric Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex legal jargon into explicit, actionable advice.
