As Legal Advisor (Projects), you'll work closely with ACMI's Chief Counsel and stakeholders across the organisation, providing pragmatic legal advice, negotiating commercial agreements and helping navigate complex project challenges.

About the role
Join ACMI as a Legal Advisor (Projects) and play a key role in delivering a major exhibition project.
Working closely with ACMI's Chief Counsel and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll provide practical, solution-focused legal advice and be responsible for drafting, review and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements.
You will balance legal risk with commercial objectives while building strong stakeholder relationships.
Subject to project workload,



you may also have the opportunity to contribute to a broader of commercial law matters across ACMI.
What you'll bring to the role
Bachelor of Law or equivalent legal qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
Admission to practice as an Australian Lawyer (or eligibility to gain admission).
Current practising certificate under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (or eligibility to obtain a practising certificate).
Your experience as a lawyer, with strong knowledge of copyright ideally with knowledge or experience in the film and television or arts sector.
Good commercial acumen coupled with great communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to analyse information concisely and provide pragmatic legal advice.
Strong contract review, preparation and drafting skills.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent matters, whilst meeting strict deadlines.

Grade 4.1 role with a starting salary of $100,894 per annum plus super pro-rata.
