About The Role:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants with complex behaviours and support needs.
You will provide person-centered support, promote safety and independence, and assist participants to achieve their goals.
The role requires a calm, consistent and professional approach, with a strong understanding of maintaining professional boundaries and responding effectively to behaviours of concern.
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide person-centered support to participants with complex behavioural support needs
Support participants with daily living, community access and achieving their individual goals
Follow Behaviour Support Plans and Client Care Plans including established safety strategies
Respond calmly and appropropriately to behaviours of concern and challenging behaviours
Work collaboratively with the broader care team
About You:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a similar/related field
Minimum 3+ years experience as a Disability Support Worker
Experience supporting participants specifically with mental illness and complex behaviours of concern
Strong understanding of professional boundaries




Ability to follow support plans and procedures
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality and composure in high-pressure situations
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check as well as First Aid and CPR Training
