The Opportunity
As the Health and Safety Business Partner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest safety standards on the project construction site based in North Head (close to Manly beach).
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated project team, where you will actively promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
Your expertise will help identify hazards, implement effective controls, and monitor safety performance, making a direct impact on creating a safe and productive work environment.
Main responsibilities include:
Monitor daily operations to ensure WHS compliance and safety policy adherence
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and ensure risk controls are in place
Provide SSQ advice, support training needs, and help improve safety practices
Assist with incident classification, reporting, investigation, and close‐out
Ensure safety management plans, HIDRAs, and inductions are current and followed
Develop and deliver SSQ inductions, workshops, and training sessions to meet project needs
Key Selection Criteria:
Certificate IV OHS/ WHS or equivalent
Construction induction card




ICAM investigations qualification
Proven ability to apply safety legislative due diligence and risk management principles in high risk environments
Construction industry experience desirable
The ability work from our North Head site office on the Northern Beaches - a fully maintained vehicle will be provided with fuel card / toll tag
