About your new employer:
Our client is a specialist commercial law firm with a strong focus on providing commercially driven legal advice and achieving practical outcomes for its clients
The firm is looking for an experienced Senior Associate who can operate autonomously while also contributing to the leadership and ongoing development of the team
About the role:
Manage a range of
commercial, construction and engineering litigation matters
.
Provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to clients.
Represent clients in Court, brief counsel and manage matters through the litigation process.
Independently manage files while supervising broader projects and legal matters.
Mentor and train junior lawyers and support staff.
Assist with workload management, team capacity and billing requirements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Contribute to
networking, business development, seminars and practice growth initiatives
.
The ideal candidate:
Senior Associate with
5+ years' PQE
in
commercial litigation
, ideally with exposure to
construction and/or engineering disputes
.
Experience across private practice and/or an in-house corporate environment.
The ability to independently manage complex matters and competing priorities.




Robust commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
A proactive approach with a genuine interest in
mentoring, leadership and business development
. Genuine drive to learn, develop and succeed in property law. Down to earth with a bubbly personality who can work well alone and within the team.
