Early Childhood Teacher, Early Childhood Educators and Casual Educators
to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This is a
contract position
that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's development and learning. Whether you are looking for full time, part-time or casual work, we welcome applications from qualified professionals who are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. This role is based at our centre in Coffs Harbour and will involve working directly with children aged from 18 months through to school age, fostering their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Key responsibilities
Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities that promote children's growth across all developmental domains
Creating safe, inclusive and stimulating environments that support children's exploration, creativity and independence
Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to ensure strong communication and collaboration
Observing and assessing children's development and progress, documenting learning outcomes and providing feedback to families
Supporting children's wellbeing, health, safety and hygiene throughout the day
Collaborating with the education team to implement curriculum frameworks and best practice early childhood education approaches
Maintaining a nurturing, respectful and culturally responsive learning workplace
Communicating regularly with families about their child's development, learning and any concerns




Contributing to the professional culture of the centre through teamwork, continuous improvement and professional development
What we're looking for
A relevant qualification in early childhood education, such as a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
A valid Working with Children Check or eligibility to obtain one
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children's holistic development
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst also taking initiative independently
Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks such as the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
A commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment for all children
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain this)
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of our centre and families
Previous experience working in early childhood settings is highly valued
