ANZUK Education is partnering with a leading independent girls' school in Brisbane that is seeking an experienced Senior English Teacher to join their team for Term 2 on a full-time contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded academic environment and teach motivated senior students within a well-resourced English department.

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching within the Senior English program, including:
n
n
Teaching 2 x Year 11 English classes (students have already commenced Unit 1)
n
Teaching 1 x Year 12 English class
n
Supporting the wider program through supervision duties to make up a full-time load
n
Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing department
n
Assessing, marking and reporting in line with QCAA requirements
n
n
This position requires a teacher confident in delivering senior English curriculum and maintaining high academic expectations.
n
About You
n
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
n
n
Experience teaching Senior English (Year 11 and Year 12)
n
Experience working in an independent school environment
n
Excellent classroom management and academic rigour
n
Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing faculty
n
n
Requirements
n
n




Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
n
Eligibility to work in Australia
n
Commitment to safeguarding children and young people
