We have an exciting chance for energetic and community focused individuals to join our Ranger team in a mixed office and field role.
Your responsibilities will include parking compliance, patrols of beaches and parks and roaming animals.
Daily interaction with members of the public will require effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
About the role:
As a Field Ranger you will investigate compliance related issues under the Local Government, Road Transport (General), Public Spaces (Unattended Property) and Companion Animals Acts.
You will use your customer service skills to communicate with members of the public while managing demanding situations.
The role provides a balance between working in the field and completing reports or documents in the office
The work environment has competing demands and requires well developed time management skills.
To be successful in this role you will need:
A passion for the community.
Experience in or a willingness to learn, regulatory or enforcement functions.
Experience or an interest in the care and handling of animals including the capture of livestock, cats and dogs.
