Alfabs Engineering - Asset Remediation & Protective Coatings is growing — and we're looking for experienced in Industrial Painter/Blasters and Concrete Remediators to join our Site Services team across NSW.
With a robust pipeline of work across the Hunter Valley, Sydney and Wollongong, this is an opportunity to work across major infrastructure, construction, mining and energy projects without being stuck doing the same job, on the same site, day after day.
The roles are casual to start and can lead to permanent opportunities for the right people.
We want to hear from experienced Painter/Blasters and Concrete Remediation expertise who take pride in their work, back their crew and know how to deliver a quality finish.

What you'll be doing
Working as part of our Site Services crew, you'll perform industrial blasting, surface preparation and protective coating works across a variety of project environments throughout NSW.
Depending on the project, your work may include:
Abrasive blasting and industrial surface preparation
Airless and conventional spray application
Application of protective coating systems
Concrete Remediation
Mechanical surface preparation
Working across shutdowns, maintenance and project-based works
Working closely with supervisors and your crew to deliver safely, efficiently and to a high standard
What we're looking for
You'll ideally bring:
12+ months' industrial painting and blasting experience
Trade certificate or relevant industry qualification
Experience with airless and conventional spray equipment
Experience applying industrial protective coating systems
Strong surface preparation skills
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites
A strong commitment to safety and quality
A reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude
Flexibility to work overtime and project requirements when needed
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing

Rail Industry Worker (RIW)
High Risk Work Licences EWP, Working at Heights or Confined Space
Mining inductions and site-specific competencies
Order 45 / relevant mining medical
Multiple trade or site tickets
