In this position, you will lead and ensure that your team execute safe and efficient operations.
This role will be offered on a full-time permanent basis on an 8:6 roster.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following as a minimum: Previous experience as a Mining Superintendent Extensive practical knowledge and experience in mining operations Ability to lead, develop and mentor workforce Strong time management skills Strong communication and organisation skills Current Australian Drivers Licence Current Australian First Aid Certificate (Desirable) Statutory Quarry Managers Certificate (Desirable) You will be responsible for: Implementing the mining plan and monitoring progress in respect of time, costs, and quality Managing and providing support to Mining Supervisors to ensure that mining activities are adequately resources Promoting a working environment that is safe, healthy and protects the setting Reviewing client and sub-contractors' plans and schedules to ensure targets can be met Maintaining and fostering relationships, contacts, and liaison with the client's team in respect of technical issues, specifications, and variations Identifying variations,
