Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a unique primary healthcare setting?

We're looking for casual RNs to join our multidisciplinary team at Canungra Health Centre, providing backfill coverage for our permanent team members and delivering high-quality care to Defence members.
n
Rostered days will vary depending on the site's backfill requirements but will generally fall Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.

About Canungra Health Centre
n
Canungra Health Centre is located a short drive from the Gold Coast and on Kokoda Barracks. This is where officers and soldiers in the Australian Army Intelligence Corps complete their initial employment training, and all-corps training is conducted throughout officer and soldier careers. It was established in **** for Army jungle warfare and infantry training. It was closed from *********,



however reactivated during the Vietnam War. Services provided include primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours of the centre are generally ********* Monday - Friday.

What You'll Do
n
n
Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
n
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
n
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
n

What You Bring
n
n
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
n
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
n
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
n
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
n
This role is primarily Monday to Friday, day shifts, working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and providing coverage for permanent staff leave on site.
