About the opportunity
n We're seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead the high-care end of production at a large-scale, high-volume food manufacturing facility. This is a fast-growing, fast-moving business that operates with real pace and energy, backed by a strong internal culture and a genuine focus on people.
n The role is a floor-based leadership role. You'll be expected to spend your first few months building trust on the line, understanding the process end-to-end, and finding early wins alongside your team. It is not desk based and the priority for the business is for an interactive leader that actively supports the team daily.

Reports to: Factory Manager
n Working hours: Afternoon shift, 2:00pm–12:00am Monday–Thursday
n
About the role
n You'll own the most technically complex end of the production process - overseeing multiple production rooms and the room leads within them. Hold accountability for machinery performance, process integrity and high-care compliance. This role is the highest point of on-floor escalation across your production rooms, with accountability for the process from start to finish.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Lead live production across multiple high-complexity production rooms
n
Own machinery performance, process integrity and compliance standards
n
Conduct safety/GMP walks and daily team huddles
n
Support rostering and timesheet oversight alongside the Factory Manager
n
Report on KPIs - tonnage, cost per kilo, labour headcount
n
Identify and drive continuous incremental improvements
n
Act as the senior floor-based escalation point for your production rooms
n
n
About you
n You're an experienced, hands-on production leader who thrives on the floor rather than behind a desk. You bring strong technical understanding of high-volume food production machinery and process, along with the commercial awareness to influence cost and labour outcomes through your people.
n You will ideally have:
n
n
Strong understanding of high-volume food production machinery and process
n
Prior experience at production supervisor level or above, in a shift-based, multicultural team environment
n
Comfort owning cost/kg and labour-related performance levers, and making quick calls when a line goes down
n
Food or FMCG manufacturing experience
n
An attitude-first mindset: humble, supportive, resilient and genuinely hands-on
