WHO WE ARE
We are Australia's largest and oldest Student Union. We are all about creating an exceptional campus experience for students.
Our Technology & Digital team supports over 1,000 staff across cafés, bars, retail outlets, events, corporate services and student programs. From Service Desk support and business applications to technology projects and digital improvements, our team plays a critical role in keeping the organisation connected and running smoothly.
We're looking for an experienced IT Technical Lead to provide technical leadership, oversee day-to-day IT support operations and drive continuous improvement across our technology environment.

Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys making technology simple for end users and is passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality IT services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead the day-to-day operation of the IT Service Desk and ensure service levels are achieved.
Provide technical leadership across Microsoft technologies, business applications, hardware and user support.
Support technology projects including system implementations, testing, business analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation,



procedures and knowledge resources.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and the University ICT team.
Support onboarding, offboarding and technology asset management across the organisation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
IT qualification or equivalent industry experience.
Experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
Experience supporting business applications and end users.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing workloads and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience supporting technology projects and continuous improvement.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
ITIL certification.
Experience with Freshservice, Freshworks or Salesforce.
Knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.
Project Management or Change Management experience.
Experience supporting POS systems and Apple devices.

THE PAY
$85,000 - $88,000 plus 12% Superannuation.
HOURS OF WORK




This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some additional hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, may be required to support projects, events or business operations.
