We are currently seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to join a progressive NSW Local Government organisation and lead the delivery of strategic and operational people initiatives across the organisation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR/P&C; professional who enjoys working in a varied environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on support to leaders and employees.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
n

Lead and develop the People & Culture team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services.
n
Provide strategic and operational HR advice to senior leaders, managers and employees.
n
Lead workforce planning, organisational development and employee engagement initiatives.
n
Provide advice and support across employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations and complex HR matters.
n
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent management and the employee lifecycle.
n




Support organisational change and culture initiatives.
n
Provide advice on industrial relations matters and interpretation of relevant awards, agreements and legislation.
n
Support Council's broader workforce strategy and organisational objectives.
n

Must haves:
n
n
Local government experience essential with knowledge of Local government award.
n
Demonstrated experience in a senior HR/People & Culture management role.
n
Experience advising senior stakeholders and managers on complex people matters.
n
Robust leadership and people management capability.
n
Experience leading organisational change, workforce planning and culture initiatives.
n
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
n
A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels.
