About the opportunity
n
We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Workforce Planning Specialist to lead and optimise workforce planning across a multi-site environment. Working closely with senior leadership, this role is responsible for building a data‐driven, forward-thinking workforce planning function, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, while driving efficiency, compliance, and service continuity.

What you'll do
n
n
Lead workforce planning strategy, frameworks, and governance
n
Oversee roster integrity and labour utilisation across multiple sites
n
Drive a shift from reactive rostering to forecast‐led workforce planning
n
Provide insights and reporting on labour costs, utilisation, and workforce trends
n
Optimise casual workforce models and reduce agency reliance
n
Deliver workforce forecasting aligned to demand, growth, and seasonal peaks
n
Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic workforce advice
n
Build capability across teams in rostering, compliance, and planning
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
Extensive experience in workforce planning, rostering, or labour optimisation
n
Strong understanding of Australian awards and workforce compliance
n
Proven ability to develop frameworks, reporting, and governance models
n




Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights
n
Experience influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders
n
Strong organisational skills in complex, multi‐site environments
n

Requirements
n
n
Experience in a similar senior workforce planning role (in the OSHC, EC or Health Care sector would benefit)
n
Proficiency with workforce planning and payroll systems
n
Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
n
